There is a loan from the parent company of £1m and what looks like a loan from IL for £2m. Can't say for sure if this is IL as it is only the abbreviated accounts which get filed so there is no related party transactions note.

I should point out one of the other creditors is actually deferred income of £833k which isn't money owed to anyone just a timing difference over revenue recognition i.e. I would imagine as the accounts go to November this will mainly consist of season ticket sales to November for the following season and perhaps some sponsorship monies?

Bradford are not in debt, we have money in the bank thanks to Bradford Council paying us £4m+ in 2003 to maintain Odsal ourselves. We posted a profit of £250k+ in 06 £200k+ in 07 and lost £16k last year, Hood as sorted the finances out and we are run to break even every year

Didn't Wigan's last published accounts have the benefit of Whelan writing-off a £1m loan? Its a good job that DW is still willing to be so charitable to his football club's junior tenants otherwise you'd had been crippled if he'd a requested immediate re-payment instead, no assets to borrow against.

If that's true, there must have been something in it for Whelan. He doesn't do "charitable" I'm afraid.
