Archer is better than Hayne. Hayne loves himself more than Ganson, but at least Ganson is a good ref.
Shayne Hayne isn't even his real name either, I remember Rabbits having a dig about that a few seasons ago.

39110_1363272058.jpg Dropkick Murphy..we actually saw and heard a mass of bouncing and scarf and flag waving to Dale Cavese that drowned out anything we could muster.. It stopped us singing our own celebratory songs, it died out seconds later when we accepted we couldn't be heard over the Wigan lot
Celebrations muted from us, job done from them. Most fans who slag them off are jealous their own club's support is nowhere near that good
-
sally cinnamon..Why not discuss Wigan? It's a rugby league message board. Wigan are the most famous brand in rugby league
-
Tre Cool..Saints fans are hopeless unless it's a cup final or grand final. Wigan fans are so much more loyal and passionate
-
the flying biscuit..Wires havent been massively succesful over the years, but I've spoke to Brian Bevan And he spoke to me and i wouldnt swap that for Wigans History, ever
-
Ande..on the TV i could only hear the Wigan fans with about 10 to go
-
Saint94..Every team is in your feckin shadow, we all know

| This would be a lot easier if we all played by the same F*cking rules!
IMO though don't have an NRL ref as they are not used to being the single ref on the field.

That's a good point. I never even thought of that, it would serve well in the RFL's argument for an English/NZ ref (not much chance of a French one, christ he's awful).

33718_1325770967.jpg Games as big as Grand Finals define individuals and clubs. Remember, we only rent these journeys. In my time I had Pat Richard's shirt. Ellery Hanley had Sean O'Loughlin's jersey. Sam Tomkins is wearing Radders' number one jersey. Andy Coley is wearing Shaun Wayne's jersey. You have to make a mark in these shirts before you hand it down to someone else. Hand it back. So be aware for 80 minutes that you are not only playing, but you are also writing history and creating legacy. How many people actually write history - not many? A big stage demands big players…..INSPIRE YOUR TEAM MATES.

It landed on heads. Ganson it is!
But no doubt they'd end up tossing a coin to decide who gets to call the coin toss.
If it landed ON heads. it would be tails that would be showing !!

| The Aussies are priceless.
They whinge their t*ts off everytime they come over then have the nerve to call us 'whinging poms' all because we pick on the fact they're the biggest set of whinging bas*ards you'll ever come accross.
We should tell them to go and run on having their own ref. We're at home and should be able to do what they did last year and have a nuetral ref in the final on the back of selecting their own week after week.
Give it to Alibert again and put a load of pressure on him. He'll crack in our favour.

| England should insist on Ashley Klein. That would get them whinging. The last time he reffed Australia their coach ended up resigning.

| Until Hayne is capable of referreeing a whole game on his own he shouldnt be anywhere near the biggest game of the season. end of discussion.

That should be in the main point in the RFL's case and i'm sure it is.
It can't be an easy transition going from a 2 ref system all year to being the sole man in charge of such a big game.
If the RFL don't stick to their guns over this then they've let everybody down.

| We use our ref, just like they'd use (historically proven) their ref over there. Simples.

| They had thier choice at DW now its our turn simple. I woild be happy with ganson in the final because he lets us get away with alot more than hayne would.

| isn't a ref non partisan, neutral, a deliverer of the rules as he sees fit in the field of play?
Does it matter?
If it's the frenchman he'll be equally as bad for both so that doesn't matter.
If it's the kiwi he'll be distracted by all the yorkshire sheep.
If it's Hayne or Ganson hide the mirrors and don't show them on the big screen.

Yes, it matters a lot. If it's Hayne he'll provide the aussies with quick play the balls and lots of momentum
