| McDermott mentions that scrap in his autobiography. The game was slipping away and he claims it was all pre-meditated in an attempt to lift the team.

39110_1363272058.jpg Dropkick Murphy..we actually saw and heard a mass of bouncing and scarf and flag waving to Dale Cavese that drowned out anything we could muster.. It stopped us singing our own celebratory songs, it died out seconds later when we accepted we couldn't be heard over the Wigan lot
Celebrations muted from us, job done from them. Most fans who slag them off are jealous their own club's support is nowhere near that good
-
sally cinnamon..Why not discuss Wigan? It's a rugby league message board. Wigan are the most famous brand in rugby league
-
Tre Cool..Saints fans are hopeless unless it's a cup final or grand final. Wigan fans are so much more loyal and passionate
-
the flying biscuit..Wires havent been massively succesful over the years, but I've spoke to Brian Bevan And he spoke to me and i wouldnt swap that for Wigans History, ever
-
Ande..on the TV i could only hear the Wigan fans with about 10 to go
-
Saint94..Every team is in your feckin shadow, we all know

| Artie Beetson said on TV today at half-time that England need to "Bring back the biff !" . To demonstrate their passion.
How right he is.
Just checking for the old time biff merchants of yesteryear and my Dad reckons Brian McTigue never got sent off in his career. I can remember even Eric Ashton being sent off.
Anyone recall 'Mac' ever being sent off ?
With 'Mac' he had a knock- out punch that never travelled over 6 inches so he never got caught.
His arena was being packed down in the scrum.

For all Morleys supposed hardness I cant recall the last time he threw a punch and as for Peacock, well he aint as hard as the Leeds fans think he is. Hes living off a soft jab that coincided with Mason falling over peoples bodies. Perry slapped him around elland road.
Id back Farrell over any of todays supposed hard men.'"
For all Morleys supposed hardness I can't recall the last time he threw a punch! Well what does that tell you? That he is a top player. Why would you want to bring the great game of RL down. I attend the matches with my wife & children. If I wanted to watch boxing then I'd go to watch boxing.

He certainly didn't throw a punch yesterday. You Wire fans have been very quick to laugh at Fielden in recent years, but compared to the other props, that was a powderpuff performance from Morley.

He never seemed to get going. I think the starters in the pack weren't up to much, with the exception of Ellis later on. The go forward came from the bench guys.
I'm going to clarify my statement now. The poor service the forwards received from acting half did them no favours at all. Sinfield brought the forwards onto the ball a great deal better.

Netball is a nice, clean, none contact sport. Perhaps you could all go and watch that. I,m sure Moz would look great in a little gym skirt.

Farrell & Scully where from a different age when big players hit big and hard. Mozza has lost a little of that as he as got older, Peacock is the nearest as he is not afraid to let it go. As for Fielden, if ever one punch has ruined a great players career and reputation then that big t!t Mason brought Stuarts world crashing down.
