I was there but his try was a double movement he went about 2 yards short but the ref proberbly was to frightend to disallow it |

To the left of the posts at the tunnel end - my only clear memory of the match other than that was the sheer size of his shorts when he ran on and everyone laughing at his ar$e the size of a barn door! It was often quoted over the next couple of years that his fitness regime and weightlifting programme had caused him to lose 6 inches off his waist but stay the same weight. What a beast. |

One of my favourite players Inga, always entertaining to watch. There was one player in particular that he knocked senseless everytime he played him. I think it was Marvin Golden and he played centre for leeds? Only a fairly young lad i think but he seemed to get absolutely banjoed every time they faced each other. Also remember seeing him stood outside of central park wearing a full length leather duster type jacket, it was like looking at a brick wearing a coat.

Marvin Golden once tried to do a diving ackle on Martin Offiah as he was tearing down the wing at Central Park. Ended up diving head first into the advertising hoardings. |
