My post is not another one of the many attack on him I am a big big fan of Lockers my post is just merely stating out that with new coaches you get new ideas and techniques maybe Mcguire will want to change the captaincy around. I guess we can only wait and ponder as to what Mcguire will want to change or keep at the club be it Lockers staying as the captain or not. |

Stick with Lockers - he's the best mon for it IMO.
Sam as vice-captain? Don't talk wet. He's just done his first season in full professional RL. Let him adapt to it properly first and foremost before racking even more pressure upon him.

Personally I would give it to Leuilali but that's me.
I would also move Lockers to the 2nd row.
I think player and club would benefit.
However, he is likely to stay at 13 and captain imo.

I think this thread just highlights the lack of leadership and experience in our squad when people nominate players like Sam Tomkins for captain/vice captain when he is only 20 and has just had his first full season in Super League. Could you imagine Kyle Eastmond or Ryan Hall being talked up as vice captain/captains at their clubs?

No way should we burden Sam at this point of his career.

Worst idea ive ever heard, all the player have full respect to Locky and say how good he is, that coming from ex Aus international Bailey. And what has Tommy done to get the vice captains job if we did get a new captain.

Dropkick Murphy..we actually saw and heard a mass of bouncing and scarf and flag waving to Dale Cavese that drowned out anything we could muster.. It stopped us singing our own celebratory songs, it died out seconds later when we accepted we couldn't be heard over the Wigan lot
Celebrations muted from us, job done from them. Most fans who slag them off are jealous their own club's support is nowhere near that good
