| Sinfield summed up perfectly tonight why he's such a good superleague player but at nobody at international level. He didn't have a finger laid on him for the vast majority of the game and was able to play with the sort of freedom he thrives on. Thats fantastic for him on a week by week basis in superleague but when he gets abit of attention he can go missing because he just isn't up to the task physically.
He may be a whinging sod but he's a clas act at this level........give him abit of a going over though and he'll go into his shell.

| I have often said that Sinfield is overrated, but i thought he had a very goot game tonight.
As has already been said though, when the going gets tough, sinfield goes missing.

Total utter tosh!
Did Sinfield not get a bash on the head tonight or was that the wind that did that?
Did Sinfield not suffer servere tissue damage and a suspected broken cheekbone against Saints but carried on paying for the full 60 mins that was left in the game - Producing an amazing performance?

Going gets tough Sinfield goes mssing?...i suppose the past two GF's, where Sinfeilds leadership was world class, were just a game of touch rugby were they?
The WCC 2008 was one of the toughest contests in the modern era, absolutely brutal and left a lot of Rhinos players sat on the sidelines the week after, in that game Sinfield stood up and lead well again.
Fact is when the going gets tough Leeds look to Sinfield and to date he has always been there!

Bumps and Bruises any player can take but Sinfield just isn't physically strong enough to stand up to huge packs and teams that apply pressure to him. His workrate his good and he'll battle manfully but will eventually be worn down and the mistakes will start to creep in just like has happened everytime he's taken on the Aussies.
Top Superleague player
Awful International player
Thats how his career will be summed up.

Hand on heart, do you know why i think Kev has failed at international level? Its because he has not had authority. Sinfield is the player he is at Leeds because of the control and respect he is given. At international level Sinfield is just a normal squad member and tbh thats not Sinfield game...hes a born captain.

| He's a failed stand off playong loose forward. Too lightweight for the pack, but too slow to play stand off. He has a lot of ability and a great kicking game and is also a good professional. A smile wouldn't hurt from time to time though, the miserable get.

England put him in at 13 in the world cup to control the organsing side of things and allow Pryce and Burrow to play their natural running games and he failed miserably because the Aussies/Kiwi's targeted him and didn't give him any room to work in. That was a major role in the side and he had huge responsibility on his shoulders but crumbled under the pressure.
He's a super player for Leeds and I can't/Won't deny that but he's in a comfort zone playing for the best side in an average league. He doesn't thrive on responsibility.......he thrives on the comfy nature of it all.
