Wigan will never have a better chance to avenge themselves for the humliations of recent years.
Will they take it?
The evidence of other semis suggests not - they've always appeared to freeze. But this one is very different. There's much more at stake here than just a GF appearance. To do their deadliest rivals at home and send the anti-hero Long into semi-retirement on the back of a drubbing - to in effect restore normality after a dark seven-year interlude - would surely be sufficient motivation even for this Wigan team.
Come on boys, you CAN do it.

The last meeting at KR didn't sell out and the 'all ticket' stipulation was abandoned. We turned up, but the away section wasn't anywhere near as full as it was for our final clash of the season last year. |

Dropkick Murphy..we actually saw and heard a mass of bouncing and scarf and flag waving to Dale Cavese that drowned out anything we could muster.. It stopped us singing our own celebratory songs, it died out seconds later when we accepted we couldn't be heard over the Wigan lot
Celebrations muted from us, job done from them. Most fans who slag them off are jealous their own club's support is nowhere near that good

Chuffed! I have been saying for weeks we can beat saints away in the play-offs if we play them so I rekon we will, bring em on! The pressure on them is massive!
I havnt been more confident about beating one of the big teams all season!
If we cut the errors and pens for one game we will win by 16+ IMO.
