Indeed. They use that video ref to determine drop outs, 40/20s and even scrums sometimes but they missed that one. Not like he wasn't told.

Silverwood was pathetic but with that fat sod Scummings in charge nothing will happen, he seems untouchable in his position and never has to justify anything to do with his refs.

O'lafflin shoud have been given 10 mins for that outburst, live on TV, and just to clear things up, it is now okay not to touch the ball with your foot when playing the ball! Cheats!!!!! |

Silverwood should be stood down from top filght after that performance, he simply isnt good enough and no amount of excuses from the RFL can justify his position. |

I think it was the St Helens v Wakefield game a few weeks back, when I think it was Ganson who was the video ref at the time, went back to have a look at an elbow into the face of Graham. Now I'm pretty sure at the time the ref didn't ask the VR to look at that incident, but he still did anyway.
Why couldnt Ganson do that tonight if he knew for sure that the try shouldnt of stood?

Totally agree. Like a poster said before refs have a thankless task but he was really shocking last night.
At the moment Ganson is easily the best ref in Superleague, but then look at the competition, frightening!! |
