On our day we can beat nearly everyone in the league, you included. Same goes for you, if Morley and Carvell completely overpower our front row we'll seriously struggle. However if we can at least compete with you in the forwards then I think our backline has the ability to take yours apart.
Gonna be a great game though i reckon.

Celebrations muted from us, job done from them. Most fans who slag them off are jealous their own club's support is nowhere near that good

| Quote: howley-wire "for me it will come down to experience and nerves , not many of your players as been in a semi final before ,, the likes of mossop tomkins brothers flanagan havent been in a semi or a final so they will be under pressure , but players like morley carvell briers clarke westwood have if u compare both teams u would find that wire has more experience of being in a big game'"
Leuluai- world cup final
Fielden- Many semi finals and finals and world club challenge, are there any wire players currently who have played in as many as him?
Richards- NRL grand final
Bailey- SOO
Lockers- Our captain and has played in a semi before
Gleeson- Played in many big games
Hanson, McIlorum, Richards, Goulding all played in the 2007 semi.
Also many of our players played in last years world cup or have represented their country at some point.
Not to mention for the last 2 years Wigan have been just one step away from old trafford and most of our players on saturday will of played in the play-offs in high pressure games at Leeds.
We are far more experienced than wire in this area.
I cannot believe you actually said that.

Like you did at Leeds? What was the score when we played em the week before. You are right - we have absolutely no chance unless you gift us points. And some of your fans call us deluded.

| As most have called it, our weakness and wire strength, is their front row.
So it's going to need rather a lot of tough tackling.
I was very surprised to hear that IL won't be signing any new players for next season. A bad mistake for me, as we are weak in one or two key areas, especially front row.
Oh for a Brian McTigue !

if Bailey and Lockers come back as expected then there will only be Mossop and Tomkins who haven't played in a final eliminator or semi i believe.
Sam's not one for lacking in confidence or nerves and i think Mossop will be part of a reasonably experienced pack with Lockers and Bailey around him.

I tell you now Sam and Joel will not feel any pressure for this game, Sam certainly won't anyway.
He did actually say though that not many of our players have been in a semi final before and indicated that wire had more experience and my argument is the just don't. Alot of wire players have not played in big games. Matty Blythe, Chris Bridge, Mike Cooper, Ben Harrison, Lee Mitchell, Chris Riley, and Ben Westwood all have big experience of big games do they? I would even say some of your more experienced guys like Briers and Carvell still do not have as much experience as some of our players.

| Apart from the Warringtons props, Monaghan and Lee Briers are the danger men for me. Briers for his kicking game and drop goals. Let's hope Briers mouths off to Ganson one too many times and gets binned!
Both teams are quite evenly matched and on paper it should be a good game, with a lot of key battles across the pitch. However matches aren't won on paper (as Wigan know too well this season).
The key men could well be the coaches of the teams.
Wigan to win by 6-10 points.

| For me starting Feka is a good idea, we need to get on top of their props from the off, they will most likely start Morley and Carvell to try and get on top of us.
If they get a roll on early on by walking over Preccy and Coley then we could be in serious trouble come the end of the first quarter.
IMO our centres and wings are ahead of their centres and wings, we will just have to see how Mr Briers copes with a big game, he could sink or swim for me
King is dangerous close to the line, I'd be watching that closly, he is excellent at getting low and powering over.
Warrington are most definatly not a team to be underestimated, the key battle will be in the middle of the park, Riddell, nows the time to shine. Make some happy Wiganers for us.
