Leeds have been niggly for a while, with Burrow, McGuire, Diskin and JJB being the main culprits, with cheap shots, ball steals, conning the ref etc. I've noticed it more this season, and I wonder why, when they have all this talent, that they resort to this behaviour.

Yes its not fair, especially as us wiganers and our friends down the road at stains dont do any of that nasty horrible dirty Leeds stuff, we always play fairly we never lie on at the play the pall or mess about in the ruck, our players dont take performance enhancing drus and our glorious boys have never benefited from breaking the salary cap to avoid relegation. tbf there was a lot of backchat last night from both sides, Coley Sam and Joel for Wigan were all giving it plenty. After nearly every lying-on penalty there were protestations about being held onto or hands trapped etc. More fool Bentham for not acting on it from the start.

a ban for saying bullshi t to a decision is a bit harsh, 10 minutes, maybe. To be honest when it comes to leeds i just get sick of hearing sinfield bleat every two minutes. i know the captain can talk to the ref but put a sock in it you whinging whino.

Give over! Plenty of player's do it in front of the referee in the heat of the moment! It's down to the ref to have a word and tell them to cut it out or they'll be having a 10minute break!

Dead simple rule.

No player is allowed to speak to the ref unless spoken to (except captains)

Any player in breach of the rule gets to sit on his @rse for 10 minutes.

No flexibility at all, football has gone down the 'emotional' route and the game is a disgrace to sport.

Spot on mate....and telling a ref that their decision is B S should be a Sending off Offence and a ban IMO....complete lack of disrespect and if that isnt bringing the game into disrepute i dont know what is! Cant beleive the relaxed response on here tbh. We pride ourselfs on being a family game and then get a player responding to the referree like this....and worse still fans thinking its acceptable!

It's a shame that leeds seem to use a spoiling tactics. Yes of course all clubs do it but leeds seem to be a lot more consistent with it, and seem to get away with it so much. lying on and messing about at the play the ball..... oh and they seem to get off with the odd forward pass to, but the ref was a bit more consistant and for once didnt let leeds get away with as much last night. stop leeds spoiling tactics, and you stop leeds alltogether... which i think was shown yesterday.

Is the increases in 'backchat' in any way due to a drop in refereeing standards & competance ?
Are players becoming more & more frustrated with poor refs making wrong calls.
