After reading the most threads on the Leeds forum, the majority of comments seem to be very positive towards Wigan and that we fully deserved the win. Most clubs in Super League (particulary the small ones) would have 3 or 4 threads about the referee, but the Leeds have taken it on the chin.

If we were ever going to be out of a competition, I'd probably want Leeds to win it. Good club, Good ground and good supporters.

McLennan lost it for them IMO.
We were on the rack in the first 20 and there for the taking. Buderus had us on toast. He was causing all sorts of trouble from dummy half and we couldn't hold him.
From the moment he was spelled we came back into it and Leeds go forward came to a stop. The longer the first half went on the more likely we looked like scoring. Getting that 6 points before half time was vital.
From the start of the second half there was only one team in it and that was Wigan.
We went from 0-10 to 18-10 before McLennon brought Buderus back on. I was sat there and couldn't believe he was off so long. IMO McLennen should brought his 9 back on after half time. Maybe he'd taken a knock, that's the only way I'd give the Leeds coach the benefit of the doubt.
What has worked in our favour is having Lee Mossop back from loan.
He's coming on and being used as a fifth prop. That extra power up the middle is using up the oppositions energy and you can see them tire in front of your eyes.
We have spoken here for years about an underpowered front row, it wasn't last night and Mossop has made the difference.

As for the Leeds club. They are the biggest in the game and do the game proud with their style of Rugby and total belief in bringing through their own players via the youth system.
Their down fall is their ground which is a disgrace. Part of it is still cordonded off as unsafe. They also have a useless CEO in Gary Hetherington. If they had a top class CEO they could win everything every year as we used to. As long as our Gary is incharge they'll be hit and miss.
Lets hope Mr Hetherington remains there for decades to come!

Maybe but there are plenty of minutes silence before games where the players don't walk out like it's the cup/grand final!! All felt a but false and hammed up to me!! But it did the trick for you guys!! Fair play to ya

Even though every official is too scared to pull Leeds everyones still out to get them, must be hard!

You are joking right....? Say what you like about the ground..it is ours though and we will never be kicked out of it for play off games. The unsafe parts will be sorted by our second rate CEO Ive no doubt, probably get another second rate stand like the second rate carnegie, but it will be ours.

Strange post really?? As this tread has kinda turned into Wigan fans saying the leeds fans arnt looking for excuses!! We got beat by the better team on the night!! There are no two ways about it Wigan were good for the win!! It's all a bit nice really!! Leeds fans are in appreciation about how Wigan played!! for me the defence was a highlight as this is the part of the game I like the most!! and the wigan fans appreciate we arnt blaming the ref as fans of other clubs do everytime they lose!! I have a great memory of a wakey fan telling me that rugby league is corrupt and fixed for the likes of Leeds! This always makes me chuckle and reminds me how small minded so clubs fans are!!

Listen you nearly beat us, nearly, but you didnt, FFS get over it. Why ride on the coat tails of a team that actually has beaten us??

Wigan were last night bar the opening 20/25 mins the best team on show, they ran hard they tackled harder and ran thier guts to water and well deserved the spoils. That was by far and away one of the best games i have attended this season and we lost badly to boot, do i think "we woz wobbed?" no i dont, do i believe "All the wefs hate us?" do i bollax, small minded excuses for small minded people (or teams ) Wigan, i doff my cap to thee, WELL DONE and good luck with the rest of your season.
