And Joel Tomkins lower down claiming it to be Hock.
Can't fault the lad for going to the papers to get a bit of money lets face it his employment prospects are not good for the next 2 years.
I was actually quite pleased by the honesty of the interview and although i am sure his words have been edited the message behind them must have come from Hock, and it does seem he is genuinely remorseful and ashamed of his actions.
If he continues with this attitude and has the desire to prove himself again this 2 year ban may well be one of the best things to happen to his career from a performance point of view.

I think people need to get off Hock's back. You're allowed to make mistakes as long as you try to redeem them.
We can judge him if he does not make the effort during his ban, or once he has served his ban, fails to redeem himself and makes the same mistake. Only then will we know if he means it, or his attitude is, at best, cavalier. By all means, judge him then, but for now, leave him alone.
I've never taken cocaine, and am very anti-drugs, however I'm not into condemning the lad. I do wonder, however, how many of you who say he's not fit to burn have had a bit of a dabble yourself?

I think it will be from when he was first suspended so he will be available to play the back end of the 2011 season. Big blockbusting Prop by then would in my opinion be a real asset if we were to stand by him, regardless of the moral considerations. |

There is no reason at this stage not to stand by him. If he's remorseful and puts the effort in, then we should put it down as a stupid mistake.
Time will tell on this one. If he doesn't mean it, it will soon be apparent that he's back using drugs, or cannot be bothered to come back and play. |

according to Vievers he was on SSN last week saying that they are supporting him 100% so looks like they won't sack him he said he has made a mistake but we are behind him.
