The last "Empire and Commonwealth Games were in 1966" which would have made him 21, so let's assume it was that he competed in.
He didn't win any medals and the 100 YARDS 3rd place was 9.52 which is about 10.40-10.5 sec for the 100m
So unless he was nipping at the heels of the finalists, I would still say Henley-Smith was the fastest Wigan player of all time.

I raced Offiah and Rob Smyth in 1994. I could do it in just under 12 secs and Rob was quicker than me. Offiah was 10 yards in front of me, but he didnt look like he was at full speed.
