| Eddie and Stevo have definitely emerged as the French and Murphy combination of Sky.
Ray French spent the whole of Wigan's glory era shouting the the St Helens cause from his commentary box. It occasionally took Murphy - who was also biased but understood the game a lot better - to chip in with reminders that there were actually two teams playing. Eddie is definitely the Ray French of this modern era, while Stevo performs a similar function to Murph (but undeniably can be very annoying in his own right).

| Some of the crap that these two come out with is unbelievable!
A quote from stevo yesterday "In our game knock-ons are punished whether they go forwards or backwards"
This was in the Hull Cas game, honestly, I hate the pair of them. They used to be awesome commentators Stevo used to bet his house on things and be wrong, then Eddie would rib him and then straight back to the game. It used to work
Quit and give the job to Barrie mac and Tezzer, Brian Carney was also excellent the other bloke is quite good as well.
Oh, favourite barrie mac quote "Paul Anderson, poor guy, spent ages doing his hair and then forgot to put it on!"
(and yes...this does mean I sat and watched every game yesterday... what better way to spend a sunday )
*Edit* BTW, Hogan, nice sig. I read that this morning.

| To be fair.....We have (at least) 3 on the 'inside' who unashamedly show their allegiance to the cherry n white cause every week.
Brian Carney, Martin Offiah, and especially Clarky, never fail to give us a positive mention at some point in a match. No matter who is playing!
Even Cullen seems to like us these days.
Anyways.........I thought Eddie the noob was a Wire fan?

Just slightly O/T - Ray French's column in this morning's League Weekly doesn't mention MM at all, he's going on about the number of games that teams have to play. Wonder why???

For most decent teams, the number of games have reduced by a third since the abolition of the Lancs/Yorks Cup / Regal Trophy / Premiership / Charity Shield / Summer Sevens / Nines......etc.

Shaun's younger brother, currently scoring for fun in the Academy, operates on the right wing and is generally seen as the better prospect of the two brothers.
