| How is Pryce going to get a go at his preferred position of centre now Gleeson has signed?
He doesnt look quick enough for winger so maybe he should play as a forward?

Or maybe the opposite. He saw Wigan not come out of second gear whereas his team went full steam against Leeds.

| The Barrow disallowed try was correct first and foremost.
I thought our tries were well worked. We got the ball out wide which is VERY unusual for us. Defence on the fringes still looks poor though and if we let Saints exploit that then we're in major trouble.

| Just read the match report on that website and this little bit made me smile.........
"It got worse when Pryce went in at the other end, twice dropping the ball only feet in front of the same touch judge before he grounded it and the ground bewildered and angry at the decision to grant the four points when a blind man in Ulverston knew it was anything but".

| Quote: Bilko "2:35 into that clip evidence that it is definetly Ainscough who got the 43rd minute try. So he got 4 and Carmont 1. If theres any doubt it is Hansen. Carmont is vertical!
So cherry&white is correct and everyone else is wrong!
I was stood infront of that and have been saying since that it was Hansen who got the try.
I didn't think it should have stood though for me as he seemed to reef it out(forward) and then plonk his hand on it as it hit the floor.

The video doesn't help. Only they will know. I'm going with Ainscough on the basis that he got up with the ball and Hansen doesn't seem to celebrate.

It's not that he's a terrible player - it's just that he's in the wrong position IMO, he isn't a winger, as we've seen in the games he's played in he has played awfll at wing. He would make a good second row for the likes of Salford, Celtic, Castleford.
No Room For Pryce At Wigan.

Taken the words right out my mouth. Don't care how long people want to give him to get fit or whatever he is a poor excuse for a rugby player IMO. Could make a Prop for Judes or Pats Maybe !
School boy tackling for all there try's.

I would agree. He has been awful every time that I have seen him play and his defence is dreadful. His attack isnt much better and he gets tackled far too easily for a player of that size. If Noble was picking on form then Pryce shouldnt have even been picked as Goulding has performed him every week in the reserves (barring the game in which he got injured) and should have been selected instead.

Hansen just seemed to reach out and pat the ball down not grab it so thats why he didn't have hold of it.
It did happen abit fast though after quite a few beers

What have you seen that makes you think he will be good for us?
Granted he been out a while, but should that not have put a fire under him to really want to do well when he gets back in the side? Where as chasing back he looked un-interested, i rekon i could do him over 60M!

| The thing with that chase is that he did not have to turn round to start chasing back (that would have been fair comment if he was steaming along - does he ever steam along? - then had to turn 180 degrees).
He was facing his own line as that attack unfurled and made no attempt to get back. Tomkins made the effort to get back, it was to no avail but people are happy when they see a player try.
Lurch made no effort.
So far he has not looked like making any effort that is what is annoying.
I don't care how big he is if he is just going to watch we should charge him for a ticket.
Lets see some effort.
