Please don't change the half backs AGAIN ! Lets have a run of matches with the same two in the middle running things, otherwise we are going round in circles.
How are they supposed to form a half back partnership when we change it every two weeks!
Tommy and Sam will be a great half back pair if we only let them.

I think Noble will bring Smith back into the 17 - I don't think he should, but I think he will do

Noble hasn't announced the squad, i can't see it on the website.

This is why I think Smith needs to play in this game against Salford.

I really think Tommy should be moved to play at Hooker and be used as an impact hooker because he offers far more here, and we look a more dangerous team when he plays there.

Tommy will do a better job as an impact hooker than McIlorum will and Smith on his day can play at lot better at SH than Tommy can. So I think this would be a good game to start with as there wont be many other matches to bring Smith back to apart maybe the CC game v Barrow.

IMO a Smith/Tomkins HB combination is better than a Tomkins/Tommy one because we can use Tommy in the impact hooker role.

It'll be on the RFL's website. He has to announce it by 2pm on Wednesday for a Friday game I think.

Your thoughts on Roberts' omission?

he needs both tomkins and smith in the squad for halfback cover,even though i am led to believe that smith is causing lots of problems within the squad.

Its a dificult one, i am wondering if he has an injury given the fact Smith will probably not play again this week so is I would assume a bit of a redundant pick, given what i am hearing from more and more people regards his issues.

Something had to change down that side both Roberts and Bailey have struggled with the defensive structure.

I think had Pryce had more game time I personally would have moved Bailey to the secondrow or dropped him altogether and used Pryce as a centre, but moving him to the centre at this stage could be too much for him.

Tough choice to make and to be honest i am not sure there is a definative answer.

hock will reak havock off the bench against them, start with feka so we have some go forward in the first 20!

I would start Fielden from the bench as a wake up call/ last chance to buck up before being dropped completely.

If memory serves me right Noble did this last year.
