Thats so true, Calderwood is a class winger and we ruined him, when we got it out to him and got him involved he was quality. His defense improved with us as well. |

Indeed.
In Martin Offiah's six seasons with us, he averaged 31 tries per season.
With this current team I'd expect he would average about two-thirds less per season. |

He didn't look too good last friday, shat himself at every opportunity. Glad we got rid. |

Out of all the "young" players I must admit that the only one that I know enough about to pass an opinion on is Ainscough.
Imo he didn't put a foot wrong in his hit outs last year.
One year on and it's time for him to get his chance.

What's good about Ainscough is that he's very effective around the ruck area.
You'll see him pushing players out of the way to have a scoot and he makes good yards whilst at it. He's a very enthusiastic and alert player. |

Yeah hes a workhorse winger. To be fair we havent really done much for our wingers over the last few years but to say we ruined Mark Calderwood is an utter joke. He was gash to start with - like Ade Gardner hes only any good if the centre inside him is class and puts things on a plate for him as well as cutting it up into bite size pieces to make it easier. |

That's the impression I have got of him when I've seen him. Sort of like a potential Robinson/Carney type. If he can be half as good as one of them we've unearthed a gem. |

Ainscough is the ideal winger for a Noble team but his lack of height makes Noble oblivious to this fact. In terms of scooting Ainscough is better than anybody else in the first team squad.
