The last comment doesn't bother me, neither do ones like "I think we will have too much in the 3 quarters". But when you have people saying they will be disappointed if you don't win by 20 is arrogance.

| Well over on their MB - They reckon as long as they close Sam down on the last tackle theyll win - they musnt know we kick early alot so theyll be waiting a while for the last tackle.

If they go for Tomkins on last we can always give it to Deacon, he's the better play kicker anyway. Sam Tomkins is a good play kicker but I would hardly say that shutting him down is the way to beat us, they just need to stop us getting the ball out wide, their best chance would be a forwards slog, but even then we'd still win IMO

Well I'll be disappointed if we don't win by at least 12, and I'll also be very disappointed if we let you score more than 12.
Does that make me arrogant?
I'd say it makes me someone who has watched all of our matches this year, and seen you make really hard work of Cas and struggle to scrape past Salford.
Frankly, if we move it around as we have in every game (except the first half against Warrington), Bradford will struggle to stay with us.
Add to that the bone-shuddering defence that we've developed this year, and it should be a good result for us - Provided that the players don't assume that we just have to turn up to win.
We've all seen what happens then - Just look at Crusaders last year (for both Wigan and Bradford).
The more I see of the Bulls under McNamara, the more I think you will struggle to make the play-offs.
IMO, your only chances are either:
a. Getting shut
b. The players ignore him and do there own thing (like Barrett for us under Noble)

| The thing that worries me about this game tomorrow is that Bradford look to be a team with a similar mentality as what we've had over the past few seasons. By that I mean they're a team that may struggle early doors to get themselves fully motivated for games bar the ones that they're being written off as having no chance in. We've been a side that can lose at home to Wakefield, Cas, Hull KR etc over the last few years and look totally uninterested in those games but as soon as the big games come around against the Leagues better teams we looked bang up for it and look determined to prove we're actually a decent side.
Alot of people are writing Bradford off tomorrow but our record there isn't great and they'll have a point to prove. They have a big pack and 2 very good halfbacks. It will be far from easy and if we win by 1 point i'll be happy.

True, i wonder where Steve Mcnamara gets that mentality from?
I think any team containing Orford & Kearney need to be taken very seriousley and the Bardford pack are more than capable of giving them a platform to work behind. I do think that Roberts will need to have is positional play spot on against those two as Orford will of been analysing our defence patterns all week.
Orford and Kearney are beginning to click but i just think that McNamara is too dumb to get the two points - even with a 40 point start....

Don't get me wrong - I'd take a 1-0 win
Saying that, I really believe that what I've outlined above is the way things are.
We all know that game aren't won on paper, but I'd be amazed if the team is allowed to become complacent with a man like Shaun Wane behind them (probably with a large stick)

| If the Wigan team need to rid themselves of complacency they only have to read Millwards prediction who thinks Bradford can beat us and Stevo who thinks it will be close and Bradford can pull it off.
They need to make sure they put the game beyond doubt

Mate
If you do, it will be a TOP game.
As much as the coaches gave the lads a roasting for it, the Warrington match was a fantastic game for both sets of fans and all the neutrals watching on TV.

Deacon used to really take advantage of the curved corners at Odsal. I'm glad he's on our side this time

I dont think there is any chance of complacency in the side under the new coaching set up. From what i have seen and heard MM will not allow that anf it is totally unacceptable under SW he does not like us conceding 1 point never mind a try.

I completely agree. I just can't see us taking ANYONE lightly under the new regime. Each game seems like a must win and is something we didn't see under the previous setup.
