Why are people still moaning??? We knew the format AND the rules and we lost. Simple as that.
As I've said numerous times, I don't agree with the playoffs and probably prefer a top 5 or 6 based on the teams in the league if I had to choose but they're here to stay as a top 8 so accept it and move on.

We already know we lost and we knew the format. Im not saying we deserved anything we havent got because we dont. The system is rubbish though and people shouldnt just lie down and accept things they dont agree with. Imagine if everybody just accepted everything because its here to stay? People will always voice their opinions against things they dont agree with and theres nothing wrong with that. |

Rightly or wrongly, what we think is irrelevant. The clubs agreed too and therefore play too a top 8.
If we were in the final and this thread appeared on the Wire board we would have ridiculed them no end. |

The system is not rubbish - as 80,000+ fans at Old Trafford will testify. I enjoy watching the best clubs in the comp going hammer & tong for the right to be champions. It may not be to everyones liking, and I would certainly agree that the current format (& the abysmal 'club call') needs altering, but the playoffs are here to stay, and are a very valuable marketing tool for the RFL. |
