I haven’t got a clue how Keighran would go at 6 but injuries will now probably dictate that Eckersley goes to centre and Keighran to 6. Not sure if Keighran has a kicking game but it will be a huge bonus if he has. Saints will be depleted so for me it’s probably up to the senior players to drag out a winning performance and throw our current form out of the window.

The question there is AK fit ? I'm not having him being outpaced by Rhyse Martin

Well if he wasn’t fit that is a big cross against Peet for playing him when we had Eckersley on the bench and ready to play, and if he was fit (which I expect he must have been to be picked) it showed a significant lack of effort on his part.

Either way it highlighted an issue.

Probably for the first time during his tenure there are some questions being posed regarding Peet’s decision making e.g. his unwillingness to rotate players in what is a long season. After saying that I think he needs to be given some latitude as he is a relatively inexperienced coach as are those around him, and when everything is reviewed I am sure that he will have learned vital lessons. The question is, how does he get things back on track?

Me neither mate but the rumours persist. Tbh I'm not sure I'd play him anyway unless it was 100% that he was totally fit. I'm thinking back to how we brought Harvard back for the Grand Final too early and another 6 weeks or more out for French at this stage would be disastrous!
