Quote NickyKiss="NickyKiss"Just got back-
If we cut out the silly handling errors we might just have a team on our hands. The defence was outstanding especially in scrambling back and sliding across and it had to be because they put themselves under an awful amount of pressure at times.
The plus points for me-
Defence was outstanding
Roberts looked like a new man
Riddell and Feka looking very fit and in Feka's case so much more mobile then last year
I thought J Tomkins and Hansen looked very solid in the 2nd row
Leuluai looked his dangerous self
Deacon showed a couple of cracking touches when he came on and set the winner up
Mossop just gets the job done with metres and tough defence
Negatives
Far too many handling errors but thats about it.'"
Spot on NK! I would just add that anyone who doubted the signing of Deacon (and I know there weren't many) don't! It could be the best bit of business from [uany[/u team in the off season. It's not just about what he does, including some very crisp and quick passes and an actual kickng game!

but the difference in the team when he comes on! He was constantly organising the team....it was almost like having a coach on the pitch. If he can stay fit and play a good number of games, he might just be the difference between us winning something and being also rans. For those not at the game, just think back to when Dobbo came in the 06 season, how much more efficient we seemed. It's a very similar thing.
