Why would Hull KR lose out financially? It’s not like the SL or RFL have said ‘Here you go Mr Hull KR chairman, this is Israel’s Folou and he has to play for you guys now’. What a load of crap, it’ll be some firm who’s spent money sponsoring Hull KR, got nothing back from it and is looking to recoup something on the back of this.

If you read the article they mention things like Sky pulling out or Betfred. I don't claim to know the legalities of it but obviously that would impact all SL clubs funding if it happened.

I don’t get this at all. There’s been no threat or indication of any company pulling out. Just useless sound bites engineered so clubs like Hull KR can take the moral high ground. It’s a storm in a tea cup and to be quite frank it’s getting embarrassing.

What he said was wrong, utterly disgusting no doubt about it but there’s footballers and other sportsmen who have been embroiled in far worse controversies yet the sponsors or broadcasters don’t pull the plug. Why?

Are you able to provide a single example of police persecuting a drunk? I could provide countless examples of drunks abusing police and other members of the public. I can provide examples of drunks damaging property and seriously injuring or killing people when they drive. Those people were rightly arrested and dealt with by the courts. I can provide examples of police finding drunks asleep in the snow and providing outstanding levels of care that saved lives.
I can assure you first hand, that police in this country do not persecute anybody, drunk or otherwise.
I will also add that in some cases, they get things wrong. Individual people occasionally get things wrong, even in the police but they don’t get it wrong on purpose. They’re human beings after all is said and done.

Hull KR should be more concerned about their lack of success on the field.

How many clubs including them said anything about other players who have come here following some form of controversy down under.

A classic example was Joel Monaghan and the episode involving a dog!

As a result of Hull KR whipping up a state of hysteria and many other clubs joining them, it now puts Folau and the Catalan club in a awkward situation if he plays in this country, especially with our laws!
