Yep, Crosby got a warning for a dangerous throw, fair enough, but no charges.

| It as been suggested on here that Wigan may recall Logan Tomkins from his loan deal from Salford for Thursdays match, could they also recall Hopkins from is loan period from Leigh to cover in the forwards.
Leigh supporters I have spoken to say that he took 2/3 matches when he went back to Leigh to get match fitness and since then he as only got better and is now playing as good as ever.
Or is there some other agenda with him and Wigan.

thats the first ive read on here about something ive suspected, not heard any rumours, but i know hes out of favour at Sarries, and ive long thought a move back could be on the cards. I have watched him play live, and he looks like a little boy lost. He's managed to get his England honours, but it was short lived, so i assume our chairman keeps an eye on things and as hes nearing the end of his contract, i suspect Joel would relish the chance to return to Wigan

I would go with that...give Lockers another week to recover, start with Micky at 13, Logan at 9 (hes better at starting than coming off the bench), Powell or Williams starting Half back with Smith, and other one on the bench

I don't know if people just make stuff up or if you don't watch often. But Joel is not out of favour, he is injured, when he's fit he plays.

| I don't see the point in recalling Logan Tomkins, he's still not good enough to make the team even with the injuries we have IMO

He may or may not be good enough, but I would have thought that with us playing Salford next game that is reason enough. We are already going to have Harris, Hock and Hansen who will be desperate to turn us over without adding another one.
He can go back to Salford, if SW doesn't need him, next week. I'd include him in the 19 and if MMc and Williams are fit then leave him out. But according to SW he was good enough to play most of last season and who knows we may yet need him again this.

I do follow Joel with interest. He does get injured a lot, but it isnt permanent. He is lucky to get a start these days. Sarries had at least 2 decent centres when they bought him, plus Farrell can play centre. They have also signed 2 more international centres since. Making at least 6 centres. He is hardy a nailed on for a place, and we're honest he only got his England caps due to injuries. He would be a nailed on starter at any team in Superleague. So i guess its up to him, Sarries, and whoever wants to sign him

I tend to agree, he is no better than several players that could have a run at hooker imo.

I think people are being guilty of underestimating Logan's ability (IMHO of course)
Considering Powell will be SO. Apart from Williams - who else did you have in mind?

Hampshire or Sarginson at SO with Powell spelling the hooker role? Plus McIlorum will move back there once we get Lockers, Flower and Clubb back. Leave him where he's at, a full season getting regular game time will help him more than being in and out of the team every week.

| One of the aspects of Logan's play that probably players notice more than spectators is the speed of the ball from the ground. I was watching him practice with Powell a few weeks ago and he was twice as fast. Almost Dermott-esque.
Also he was the fittest player on the books 'til Sarge came along.
By the way, I think Sarge would cause the opposition a lot of problems from stand off.
