I do hate our fans sometimes. I was ashamed tonight.

The same ones who booed Pryce are probably the ones that clapped Catalans the other week and the same who happy clap anybody not perceived to be a threat onto the field each week.

We do have some very strange fans.

You are right, he took the correct option there but he did hang on perhaps a couple of times when he oculd have passed but so did one or two other players tonight.

I don't think he was MoM though. The player who impressed me the most as McIllorum. I thought he was outstanding early on.

Me too. Several were calling him around me. He's exciting with the ball in hand. People would moan if he didn't take the line on. No player is ever going to go through a match without getting tackled. He creates and scores tries. I don't see what the problem is.

Personally, I wouldn't change him for the world. His plusses far outweigh his weaknesses and the last thing I'd want is to put an element of doubt into what is a very confident player. Some of the whinges and cries from our speccies were embarrassing.

I was on about this earlier. WHY do the fans applaud the likes of Quins, Crusaders and Catalans?? The fact that they only bring a few fans is not a good enough excuse.

Lets say the saints fans might get banned for a game for some incident (i know this will never happen) BUT would saints get clapped on? NO..... so no other team should get that!

Shock horror a young player with 2.5 years in SL makes a wrong decision.

Some of our fans need to get a grip or just stop comming to games.

His decision making will improve with time and for now at FB he'll develop his game and in a few years he'll step back to HB much like Lockyer did.

The Saints players though don't travel week after week and play in front of little or no support. To keep going like the Quins players did last night given the scoreline before they scored and the lack of appreciation they got for a well worked score, deserved a clap from me.

Shockingly I applauded a couple of good plays/tackles that Quins made last night. I have also been known to applaud Saints for good play, and even the odd exceptionally good try.

I don't understand why a simple "fair enough, that was a cracking play" appreciation and show of respect for what I have just been entertained entertained by is a crime in your and other's eyes. I think you are taking a very "football" view here, what next no talking to opposition fans?

Part of the enjoyment of RL is that respect, banter and friendly atmosphere. To have this a black and white view of what others can appreciate isn't going to fit very well.

Correct. I applauded Barrow off the park on Sunday as I felt they gave their all and deserved a little bit of respect for their efforts. They could easily have crumbled and had 100 put on them, but they never gave in which was summed up with the last play of the game.

Exactly. OFF the park, when the game is over and done with and we've already won. I don't understand why they're applauded onto the field before the match.

I think Tomkins would flourish if he had a running stand off in the team. Somebody to hand around on his shoulder, it would give him another option. In Finch, Deacon and TL, they're all creative type players. Maybe Sam needs options, I know he worked very well with Gleeson on that right edge.
