Fantastic pictures here ....and i also have fanatstic memories of the Bramley and Wigan game and i have it on video somewhere ....in the last 5 minutes of the game when it was 10 all Bramley had an attempted drop goal and from the video and from the players and fans reaction ..it was over a goal apart from the referee who disagreed and that was that ......bitter not me ...what will be will be ..but still a Bramley fan and proud to be so but if we had won i wonder if we still would have our own ground and still been in the pro ranks ............Happy days ...happy away days ..but still tinged with sadness.

Thanks for reviving the memories. I was only young (thirteen), but still remember that we were DAMN lucky to survive a draw!!! That was a lovely little stand and I cherish the photo as much as the others. Please if you do manage to get the video online, please come back and let us know....would love to see it again!  |
