I need help off you learned Gentlemen.
Last year I purchased a laptop so that I could go on a Photoshop course at the local tech, after a few weeks the course fell through because of lack of numbers (it did not even start).
All this meant was that the laptop was hardly used ( I find it far easier on the desktop),after having it for a few months with hardly any use I noticed the battery was draining very fast.
I was getting a message (consider replacing your battery) every time I charged up.
I took the laptop back to PC World and they sent it away for investagation, after a week I got it back with a repaired ticket.
The problem is I then went 3/4 months without using it,untill this week I decided to see if I could get rid of it.
The message consider replacing your battery is still there and it still drains pretty quick, which leaves me with two questions for you.
No 1,Is this normal for a laptop battery to degrade through lack of use and not hold its charge.
2nd and the most important question,I found out yesterday that the 12 months warrenty ran out on the 4th of September, which makes me ask the question.
If I have a statement which says that my laptop was repaired in March does my warrenty still run out at the end of the 12 months from purchase,or does the warrenty start again for another 12 months because it was the same problem.
I hope you can give a bit of advice to a silly old sod and at the same time take your minds off tomorrows match.
