Disgusting tackle Ablett made on Sam and shows what a coward both he is for his actions on a smaller opponent and Ganson for not showing him the red card. Reffing was a little bit one sided untill Ganson reallised it was getting noticeable. God knows how many high shots they made only to be warned and Coley getts binned for not even none. Does make me wonder if there is a conspiricy between the RFL and Cummings to even up the games because without Coleys binning you would have battered them easilly. Sam Tomknis is a credit to you Pies and our game. Well done Pie Eaters.

The reason Coley got binned was for Wigans persistent conceding of penalties. That was the seventh consecutive one and Ganson had warned Wigan about it and to be fair to Ganson he also warned Leeds later for persistent infringing.

Saying that after watching the Sky+ recording when I got home I don't think Coleys was even a penalty.

Back on topic, Ablett deserves a three to four match ban.

He should be sine die.

If its deemed accidental use of the forearm, that will be grade B (1-2 matches) If its seen as deliberate use of the elbow then that is grade D or E which is 3-8 matches.

Aswell as Ablett getting baned, so should Ganson, Ablett should have been given a straight red, Bailey should have been sent to the sin bin, then he sent Coley to the sin bin for a tackle that was commited, not high, and millieseconds late. He is a total joke, and gives Leeds everything, he so so incompetant at awarding tries aswell, he always has to go to the screen ala Carmont when he was stood right in front of him and it was clear the ball was down.

It surely has to be regarded as deliberate.

I know it won't be in all honesty but it was ane everyone knows it. He'll get a 2 game ban and a fine imo and that is nowhere near enough imo.

Just to add what I know.

Bentham (VR) told Ganson that the shot was both "to the face" and "with the forearm".

Now, given that his TJ's said the same (at least one did, the other claimed that he had "nothing to add"icon_wink.gif, then it was blatantly obvious that it should have been the simplest red-card decision ever.

Which makes it even more baffling that the one ref in the comp who has NEVER been afraid to brandish cards of any colour, chose to do nothing.

Add to that the fact that Coley got 10 minutes for a non-penalty (I would have accepted it fine if it had actually been another penalty after a warning), and then to give EXACTLY the same warning to Leeds later on but to do nothing when they gave away the next penalty.

Overall, I thought Ganson had a decent game, but just with some REALLY baffling decisions thrown in.

well i recon ganson was bloody awful tonight. like its been said it ws a definate red and the coley incident , well am baffled about that one . seems to me he did hes damned best to make it a closer game. His decisions could have cost us the game.
