Well if he does he will be risking the wrath of the fans.
We all want to see the youngsters come through but not like today.
Not playing the majority of the team he will play v Wire in the two games leading up to the fixture is stupid. The players match fitness soon drops off and they need to be clicking like a well oiled machine not coming back after two weeks rest for that game. |

I think even if one of Pat, Tommy, Sam or Lockers played they we would have won.
That could be Widnes' only win of the season, because defensively they are shocking.

I actually do think we should still rest a few vs London, not to todays extremes though. We've got a heavy easter period coming up. I definately wouldnt play Mossop and Goulding.

The worst thing he could do is play a weak squad again next week. But I'm kind of expecting him to do it. I can't see Wane changing his mind because Fans don't agree with him and that could be his undoing. And if he now came out and admitted he got it wrong he would be putting himself in a vulnerable position.
I'll wait and see but this week will be very interesting to see what happens with the selection.

Why would SW be putting himself in a vulnerable position if he admits any errors, either by words or actions?
To my mind, he may regain respect in the eyes of fans by doing that. I agree with previous postings that there's unlikely to be so many changes (barring injuries etc.) two weeks on the trot prior to, on past evidence what will be a very physical and intense meeting with Warrington.....never mind the Easter period. |
