That's news to me

| 58 tackles for a young kid, that is very impressive.
From what I've seen he must be in (or close) to double figures with the trys he's scored. Runs neat lines and finishes well.
A nice find to off-set Mark Flanagan?

I liked Flangan but he was brought in by Nobby (not really brought through) when he became coach . If i remember correctly he either arrived with or picked up an injury that kept him out for a long time in his early days with us . Farrell was one i always thought to be one of our most promising academy players along with Mossop and of course Sam but i always worried about Sam's durability on stepping up to first team ,Im more than pleased to have my worries about that allayed .
Thanks for the sensible post i was starting to tar most leeds supporters who post on here with the same Bog brush .

| Just appears to be getting better game by game. Does anyone think he will struggle to keep his place next year with Hoffman coming in, Mossop back and possibly Hock coming in added to Hansen?
Hard to drop him on this form, but you haveto assume that Hoffman will be first choice, then any one from 4, unless Hock is going to play prop / go to Penrith.

It's up to Hock to prove he's as good as he was - 18 months out of competitive sport won't be good ofr him and it'll take a while for him to get back up to match speed.
Think with Hoffman, Mossop, Hansen and Farrell to start the season in 2011 we'll be fine and then if Hock is upto the task then he'll get his chance too. Would hate to see someone get a game on the basis of them being a big name though.

Well, Madge has already shown that he won't select players just because they're "big names".

| Farrells preformences should have earned him a spot on the 17 at the start of next year imo and it's up to guys like Mossop ad then hopefully Hock to try and take that from him. The thing that has struck me from day one about Farrell is how comfortable he's looked playing first team. He plays like a veteran and it's hard to get your head round the fact that he's a 20yr old kids in his first season.
If a State of Origin and Australian international came over for huge money and put in preformences like Farrell has we'd all be made up. If Hoffman can reach a higher standard then Farrell has then we're onto a winner.
