The JJB logo on the top of the West stand has changed as well. It is still a rugby ball shape but has a cheap square DW logo it it. It looks ubelievably cheap!

That is terrible, I didn't realise how bad it looked. Looks like a child has done it, typical tight Whelan, surely it wouldn't cost that much to do it properly and not ruin the stadium.

The DW doesnt look that bad in the south from this picture.

The Wigan is utterly embarrasing, its not even central to the stand.

As someone said, surely the letters are going to be outlined, or something. Even DW himself must be embarrased by that.

Names on seats don't do much for me!

Hopefully peoples ar*es will be covering them up most weeks anyway.

I believe its the West and East stands that are to be renamed, one is the Billy Boston stand and the other the Springfield Park stand, which way round I'm not sure.

That's quite interesting - would Wigan fans rather have a Billy B stand or a Central Park stand?

Central park for me.

Would make some sense to have the East Stand as the Springfield Park stand as it's at that end of town. Hopefully the Billy Boston stand will be the South Stand and the Graeme West stand should be left as it is.

If I were a Latics fan I'd be shamed that a person's name connected to their club couldn't be found to justify naming a stand after him. Calling it the Springfield Park stand merely reaffirms their status as two bit club with no history or tradition.

just goes to show that in the grand history of wigan, latics have a very very small part to play. the sooner they realise that the better!
