| A few years ago when it became obvious that the Wigan club was rising again one of the most enjoyable things was watching the panic, fear and hatred that this caused amongst fans at other clubs.
As we now have a decent chance of the double, with SW clearly trying to spell and protect our key players (if Lockers and Tomkins - the best two players in the league - are fit in the play offs then don't believe the doom-mongers, we can beat anyone) the attempts of the Wigan haters are taking on a more and more desperate air.
I love it!

Sheffield 98 we were poor but in my first ever Wembley final (1984) we were woeful. Widnes took us to the cleaners that day. |

Saints in 1989 were worse than Hull were on Saturday.
And were it not for the Mike Gregory try I'd say the Wigan-Wire 1990 final saved you from an even worse hammering!
16-0 pales in comparison, Hull (albeit poor) were still in the game with 7 minutes to go. Neither of the two above were.

Castleford in 1970 was a poor game, pitch was in awful condition and the ref 'bottled' what should have been the first sending off in a Wembley final.
