| Its irrelevant if he broke it or not. Fatty has a lot of weight and when he throws it about its gonna do damage.
He deliberatly punched someone who had no chance of getting out of the way and he gets away with it because it wasnt classed as dirty play.
Its comical

| What is deemed as 'undue pressure' on the knee joint? Are they basically saying you can't tackle someone around the knee?
Regards the Cunningham incident, he was found guilty of throwing a punch but didn't mean to hit him in the eye. That's fine. Break someones jaw but state you meant to hit them in the nose.

| Don't forget Sam was also guilty of telling Ganson the Saint's score.

An indication of how much the game matters to all concerned can be judged by the fact that one player is defying a fractured eye socket in order to appear.
Wakefield prop James Stosic suffered the injury after being struck by St Helens hooker Keiron Cunningham in the Wildcats' stunning defeat of the leaders but coach John Kear insists the 27-year-old will be fit to face the Tigers at Belle Vue.
Kear said: "These things happen. The specialist has said he won't damage it any further so he'll get his shirt and his boots on and get out there. They play with worse than that!"[/i

You know what, you're right. He didn't have a fractured eye socket at all. Everybody just made it up. I got all these media folk AND the RFL involved. They only wanted a few copies of Top Gear I recorded off Dave on Freeview, and they said they'd join in and mislead everyone. Even Stosic himself.
You plonker, Rodney!'"
Which is all very nice, but try reading the press release from the club he plays for after they received the results of his scan, you moron.

| No, YOU try reading it. I'll highlight the part you need to understand.
[iInjury Update
Wakefield prop James Stosic has not [ubroken[/u his eye socket as was first feared following Friday’s win at St. Helens.[/i
Whilst the medical world doesn't necessarily differentiate, the "generally accepted" terms used do. A break is understood to be a more severe fracture, usually at the point where a fracture is considered to be compounded and bones actually separate.
Also note the dates. All the articles above I quoted were issued around the 24th/25th. The Wakefield article you quote was issued on the 20th. Between those dates, Stosic attended a specialist, and as John Kear relays to the media, "[iThese things happen. The specialist has said he won't damage it any further so he'll get his shirt and his boots on and get out there. They play with worse than that

This is true, he should've done it and it was a cheap shot
Its just amusing when people keep saying it was fractured when no official wakefield statement says it was. Fishta even pm'd me last night several times but still can't show me where wake have said it was fractured
but as you say the level of injury is not important, the intent is, which i was very disappointed with from KC.
