Absolute brutal second half performance and could have been 40 if charnley could kick a goal.
Hughes was fantastic, as was Finchy and gelling was very good on the wing aswell.
If you had been offered at the start of May that we could have beat Saints, Huddersfield, Saints, Leeds, Catalan with your first choice back row missing for two games and that we are sitting at the top of the table 3 points clear and in the semi of the challenge cup I think every one of us would say yes please!
What a team we have here and there is further improvement to come.
Hopefully the lads who arent on international duty enjoy their breaks and lets all get ready for the Widnes game!
The only negative coming out of todays game was the injury to Dudson, I hope its not a broken ankle but I fear the worst. At least Preccy and Flower will be knocking on the door again shortly.

Hear hear. Was such a tough run in the season, ad we've won every game. We've got some easier ones on paper now but we still need to keep this form going, maybe rest a few bodies here and there in anticipation for the CC semi in mid July. |

He's the next in a long line of quality 2nd rows Wigan have produced.
I remember a few years ago when Gaz Hock broke onto the scene Mike Greg said if Hock added a bit of bulk he'd destroy some teams.
Whilst Hughes is a big lad i think we can say the same about him. Once he adds some more bulk to his frame he's gonna be an international player. |
