I know we do not see eye to eye on some things, but I agree 100% with what you have said about Powell who does not deserve the constant swiping at him by some supporters.

Was that not a Waney tactic to keep the middles as fresh as possible? Even guys like FPN only did 20min stints but in the NRL he was 40/50min.

Btw MM played 70mins against Wakey on Saturday, subbed only in the 70th minute.

MM would have played 80 minutes against Wakey but I think was subbed as a precaution as the old red mist had come down

Other than next club captain (I personally prefer Faz), I completely agree. I’ve given him stick also, I still do from time to time but I can’t deny what a well rounded player he’s becoming.
