I also thought it was a bad one at the game. Despite the online furore, having seen the video I can understand why no action was taken on the day. It's clear that the direction of impact was with the natural bend of the knee and had he come in slower to get a squeeze on the legs u doubt anything would have been said. Coming in at the pace he did though was reckless and will probably pick up a ban. Not the worst I've seen by any stretch but he did punch someone 6 years ago so probably deserves 10 games or something..
