I get you but I'm sure if the lad is fit he'll not want to be held back. Give a lad who's been out for 12 months the news that you're keeping him wrapped in cotton wool for another 7 months and I doubt he'll be best pleased!

He may not get a spot anyway but we know how good he is and if he's right and the opportunity comes, then he should be given the chance.

i'd like to think that Dom will be held back until the super 8s at the very earliest.

I am sure I seen a some point last week that the club/Wane said that Manfredi along with J Tomkins are around four weeks away. So that would take them to game 1 or possibly game 2 in the super 8's.
