We haven't coped with Clark particularly well previously and I'm not sure what we can do on Saturday to stop him other than target him in defence to significantly increase his workload.

That hurt at the time. Well, for all of half an hour. If we win tomorrow, I doubt many will remember a Super 8s game that settled nothing (not even the LLS in the end). If we lose tomorrow, then there'll be incidents in tomorrow's game which will mean much more.

A gamble if he does but as a utility option from the bench in place of Shorrocks (who's unlikely to do more then 15/20 mins anyway), I think I'd take it.

Definitely worth playing him if deemed fit, two spells at loose to start and end the game for me. A very useful player to have out there during the opening 'softening up' period due to his experience and outstanding defence. Isa to drop to the bench, Shorrocks to miss out (Lockers is adequate cover for halves and hooker, Bateman covers the backs).

I'd bring him on after 30 mins and leave him on until he's struggling.

Can't believe this is even being discussed by Wane, he's not played for two months, Clark, Ratchford and Russell will murder him from dummy half.
