As for the daft celebration at the end, was more to wind you lot up I'd guess and judging by the comments on here, it worked a treat. Additionally to see pics of Wane looking devastated on TV again, is pretty funny for any none Wigan fan.
As for accepting mediocrity maybe? But its a hell of an improvement (not tonight) from where we have come from. Even when you lot win you're sore losers and probably justifiably the most hated team in RL, with absolute soulless, plastic, robotic fans for good measure.'"
Cheers, man.
Perhaps you and the rest of the Cas hardmen can really show what you think by taking it out on the next Wigan junior team to visit your town, as encouraged by your chairman on the tannoy. Again

| It was baffling.
You've just been absolutely thrashed, yet you decide to cheer because your most hated rivals have won the LLS?

When was jack Fulton on the tannoy at Cas? Guy can barely talk let alone do tannoy announcements

| Sad- that Lancastrians don't have the same local pride?
Is it as sad as 30,000 booing for brough to miss a kick at magic weekend- as they'd rather a French side win????
Both hudds and Leeds played some excellent rugby league- both those sides will be better prepared for a tough semi rather than the "friendly" you seem to claim cas gave you. Going to Wigan holds no fear as far as I'm concerned- shame the rfl insist on having important semi-final games on a Thursday night when many can't attend. Imagine the FA doing that......

| As a Leeds fan I always shout for Yorkshire sides in any cross pennine match despite the fact that I have no special hatred of Wire or Saints. Surely Wigan fans don't cheer for us whenever we play Saints do they?

I'd say 90% do.
There is a famous saying around Wigan:
"I support two teams. Wigan RL and any team that Saints are playing".
Cheer for the bin dippers? Never have never will.

The fact that our coach was devastated by finishing 2nd is the reason he's had the success he has both as a player and coach. Laugh if you want, but that's why you're crap.

| Having the opposition delight in your losses is part and parcel of being a supporter of a top club. But to be fair to Cas I doubt that many of those top clubs could have as consistently "over performed" given their resources, as the Cas club have. I think Powell has achieved incredible results given the resources and issues that he has had to deal with.

| That was funny as well ... the helicopter flying the LLS to the perceived winners.
It was back and forth like a fiddler's elbow.
Until, at the death it made a beeline for Wigan ... and then?
Pished myself at that too.
Classic.
