You're going to be in trouble for leaking Wane's next press conference script. . . . .

| Wane sold himself short.
He should have said Wigan ARE the most famous RL club in the world BECAUSE they have won more League titles and more Challenge Cups than any other club, AND are the ONLY club to go over to Australia and beat an Aussie club side, in fact they did it twice.
He's slipping in my estimation.

And look at the side Wigan had back then, and compare it with now. Edwards, Botica, Robinson, Farrell, Offiah, etc etc... Genuine world-class players throughout the side. Now, on a good day, we have one.

Your absolutely right Rogues Wigan are the most famous side in the world ever as not one Australian club has ever managed to win any league titles, challenge cups or even any SL Grand Final wins, and i don't anticipate that any of their sides will ever manage to do so

Oh yes, absolutely; it's not just Wigan, could say that about all SL teams, one world-class player at the most, if they're lucky.

Agree. Manfredi in his previous appearances has been solid and not much more than that.

I think that's pretty harsh considering the game time he's had. He got a decent run in the side last time Charnley was injured and didn't look out of place IMO. He's got a very good tryscoring record, he's solid in defence and under the high ball. In any case, Charnley, and especially Burgess, have been far from "solid" so far this season. Manfredi replacing Josh is the least of our worries for this Friday based on our 2015 form to-date.

You have me thinking there Rogues, all I can think of at the present is when they had that 4 or 5 club competition against NRL teams quite a few years ago and I am just thinking it was on an home and away basis (some teams you played at home others away) could be completely wrong, but I cant check now I am going t watch the Liverpool match.

In the 1997 World Club Championship that included everyone we beat Canterbury home and away so I guess he means the away win against Canterbury.
According to Bilko's site the team that night was Paul, Andy Johnson, Connolly, Radlinski, Robinson, Wright, Smith, Hansen (Lee), Hall, Cowie, Haughton, Cassidy, Farrell Subs Holgate, Tallec, Cardiss, Koloi
