| From the two League games we upped our game massively v Brisbane and a continuance of that should get us the win. Starting props will be interesting as Clubb and Tautai were devastating in their first appearance off the bench against Brisbane.
Hampshire at fb will give extra pace and the back three of Charnley, Hampshire and Burgess have pace to burn.
HKR pitch may be better than we think. It is near the coast and windy which may well have helped dry out the surface more than anticipated.
With his team selection Waney does appear to think we have the beating of them. HKR have conceded 40 points in their last three games.

| Sunday will say a lot for our chances this year IMO and will give us a good indication of our attitude in comparison to last year. These are the games we struggled in last year and we just didn't seem intense enough in them.
A good solid performance with less errors then we've been making would be nice and would really set us up.
As for the team C Farrell and Logan Tomkins to miss out for me.

We've not really had any bad weather this week so pitch should be in good condition,
really not confident on this game we have shipped in 86 points in 2 games and if you count the wire friendly it would be 126 points in 3 so I'm hoping you playing 90 minutes against brisbane has taken a lot out of your tank and we actually start to look like a team, all ifs and buts that need to go in our favour for us to pick up our 1st win

Spot on , for top 4 spot I would say this is a must win game, see if we can get that Yorkshire monkey off our back, or sheep even, see if we have learnt those lessons from last year, first two games have seen a points improvement on last season even though it is early days, weather forcast looks ok, looking forward to it.

Any news on what's up with Sarginson? Last thing we need is an issue with him. I was hugely impressed by him last Saturday after a long break and no pre season games.
What an engine!

| Mossop was withdrawn from our (Workington) squad this morning and we heard he's in the Wigan squad tomorrow in place of Tautai.

| Surprised Logan has been dropped for Powell but I quite like Powell as bench hooker.
If Joel is going to play centre for a few weeks then I hope someone teaches him where the sideline is.
