Lenegan has started doing a weekly "Chairman's Chatter" thing on Wigan TV. On the latest one from yesterday he was asked about the Cas fixture and reckons it was changed by the RFL without Wigan agreeing to it. Wigan haven't announced anything as yet because they are appealing the move to the Friday and want it playing on the Saturday instead. He reckons they'll find out the decision "within 48 hours" so guessing it'll be confirmed either way tomorrow.

At least IL is digging his heels in so to speak

If Wigan have not agreed with this , why has it been changed on the website . Its not like Wigan to change anything quickly on there .

It's a ridiculous situation though for it not to be set in stone just over a week from the game.

I never miss cas away but this year its a matter of principle to not go as i took sunday off as a days boliday,how many other wiganers aint going because of the change,if most boycott the game they might think twice about doing this in future as it would hit them in the pocket

already used up all spare holiday for Thursday/Friday games as I live near Coventry, late notice from Cas means I will miss this one unless I take a whole day off work and lose a whole days pay

Another 2 here. Would've been there Sunday or even if it was moved forward to the Saturday. Simply not feasible on a Friday with this short-notice.

I went to Cas last year; stopped over with a mate in Nottingham and drove up the M1. Not going to happen on a Friday, though.
