I made the point to my mate at the Dewsbury game when everyone was going wild chanting his name:
"What's he done apart from knock the ball on from the kick off, get banned, then get injured?"

Not the most impressive start but hoping he gets a run of games and can show good form in the playoffs.

He looked like a man on a mission to make a big impression to me when he pulled on the Wigan shirt. That lead to him flying out the line trying to hit people and him putting in high impact carries which wasn't what I was expecting after watching him for the USA in the world cup. I just thought we were getting a real grater who's bang out the carries and metres and get through his work in defence.

I'm sure once he settles and feels a real part of the club he'll become more consistent. His early season form wasn't poor by any means but he needs to be smarter.

He's not set the world on fire, but I'd have him in the team in front of Dudson and James.

I watched him play for the first time v the Aussies at Wrexham in the World Cup before he joined us. He had a good game against them so he can do it IMO.

When we sign a "project" i.e. someone who until we sign them is seen as 2nd rate, our coaching and fitness regime is supposed to be so good we will turn them into good players. Eddie P is not a "project" as he is better than that IMO so if he is heading off in the Lauaki direction I'd like to know why given the resources the club has.

Well if we have it will be time to question the recruitment. Lauaki was awful and if Eddie goes the same way that just won't be very good at all but there is time to see which way it will be. I hope our new recruit from Wakefield isn't another!

I thought lauaki was an early April fools, he just turned out to be a permanent one, Eddie hasn't even turned up yet..Jordan James wasn't good enough first time around..recruitment is worse than poor..scraps from the table.
