It counts. He's come through the academy, its not like we're doing a Warrington in poaching other SL clubs youngsters. |

The RL rules state something along the lines that a club must have 8 club trained players in their squad of 25.
They should soon make that 8 club trained players in the match squad of 17.
Plenty clubs are up to that now so it would push the others along to improve the player pool in SL. No 8 in the 17 from 2015 then no licence!
Whilst they are at it perhaps they should go back to the old rule whereby a club could only sign one player a year from outside their own service area.
That would stop certain clubs in their tracks!
