Also what was Phil Clarke going on about Isaac Luke missing the tackle, which led to the 1st try, because the Haka took it out of him

I nearly choked on my pint when I heard that!
What a numpty! "You know, Eddie I always wonder whether I should just shut up instead of coming out half-baked statements all the time?"

| After today's game, McNamara came up with this assessment.
"I know Sam will get the headlines, but Kevin was very good," he said. "He's controlled the game, and the influence he has on the rest of the group is enormous."
Now I've don't have his piercing insight into the modern game, having never been a failed superleague coach or blagged my way into the national coaching job, but what f***ing game was he watching?

| Nice of you to speak of a Grand Final winning assistant that way.

I'm guessing the Yaaarkshire version of it.
But listen ... don't dis Kevin Sinfield. Remember, he's so far turned down at least three £1,000,000 offers to go to Rugby Union.

Jesus Wept the RFL cant win can they?
they stick an England game in the Heartland of the game in a brand new stadium that isnt too big so we dont complain about empty seats on the TV . and people still complain.
there is one thing wrong with International rugby league in fact one thing wrong with Rugby League the apathy of the fans.
It wasnt sold out in a town that borders Wigan Warrington and St Helens who can boast the biggest club crowds in the game...
views on Wembley then please....not in the heartlands?.... too big? .....to far away?...wrong time?...or cant be ar$ed watching a team that isnt your own club team.....?
the latter most probably...

| Why does England need a full-time Coach anyway?
The Aussie coach has a full time day job with Wests and does his coaching for the Aussies when the team gets together.
I wonder what McNamara actually does Mon-Fri each week apart from going on expenses fuelled trips to watch RU and football games with Stuart Pearce.

Yep. Because in actual fact this is the best coaching team the England squad has ever had.
If you aren't actually on 'Desperation Island', something tells me you should be.
