If we do get past Catalans i hope Warrington do pick us. I would much rather lose to them in the semi than the final at OT

If we won then the final would be there for the taking. Lets be honest though they wont, they will pick lowest ranked side end of imo.

I think Wire are more than confident enough to pick Leeds, regardless of their form if we beat Catalans.

The last thing Tony Smith will want is to cause any controversy given his opinions on the whole concept.

I think they'd most probably choose us tbh, If we win next week we will still be shattered etc and they will know we are there for the taking. Either way we are still their biggest threat so why not get us out the way early whilst we may be on the rack and let leeds/saints kick ten bells out of each other.

If we win they will send us to saints for the derby

Saints might have few bodies back if you get a rematch

wigan are a dangerous side do you try to beat them at home and hopefully have a easier final ( given saints history ) or hope wigan are too knackered to mount a serious title defense in the grand final

IMHO having the cup so close to playoffs gives the finalist a disadvantage so being successful in the cup is no reward. how many weeks off have wire had since being knocked out of the cup

Club call is at the DW after the Wigan Catalans game, and as one poster put regarding Tony Smiths "arrogance" he only stated he doesn't agree with the club call concept and is having nothing to do with it, he is leaving it to the board, thats not arrogance thats his opinion of which he is entitled,as to who we may choose imo it will be the winner of leeds v hudd regardless of your team being tired etc you are due a better game and i can't see our club taking the risk

I think that Wire will choose the winner of the Wigan Vs Catalan game.
I say this because you play on the Sunday evening and we play our game on the following Friday so the team that wins on Sunday evening would only have 4 full days to recover and we will have had two full weeks.

The only exception to this is if the winner of the Leeds and Giants game finishes the game with key men injured or banned, then in these circumstances we would send the winner of your game to Saints.
