Carvell took Will Sharp's head off! Interesting to see what people think of the tackling technique of Wire tonight. No more pretty than ours but with a lot of pulling the leg back with potential danger to the ankle joint.

I thought the same myself. If people are unhappy with Wigan's technique then they ought to be livid with Warringtons Union mauls and the like. And it's bad enough turtling, but flopping when the tackle is complete and THEN turtling? Ganson was a joke in these respects.

I think at least a 1 game ban for it, regardless of the lack of an injury as precedents have been set, clear attack to the head. Don't care if he patted him on his head and said sorry. Ganson made his own rules up tonight for the PTB and tackle, some of that stuff had to be seen to be believed!
