No problem with the Tomkins decision as the laws stand, but I reckon the RFL should write to all clubs about full-backs/wingers kicking out at a securely carried ball. Everyone does it and it's an accident waiting to happen. Should be 10 minutes and an automatic penalty-try if over the line. That's nothing to do with Tomkins though, that's for everyone.

Hock is lucky to be only up for 8 matches maximum, IMO.

What's the point? At one time the flop was penalised with vigour and now is a regular, unpunished occurrence. Also, since the rule change has anyone been binned for a grapple/chicken wing? Any edicts issued from HQ are just a waste of time IMO.

What Tomkins done yesterday was no different to what Raynor done to him the other month. Both were innocently trying to prevent a try, in retrospect, Wigan got a very lucky red card during that game, but I thought the officials, Sky and RL fan base were all against Wigan?
