| Quote: MR FRISK "How can a bite be more punishible than a punch/spear tackle
Imagine this then, you're on a night out with your bird and some geezer get's a good grip of one of her tits, you stand there filled with rage and out of nowhere you one arrow him in the face without even thinking about it. Crowds reaction = he deserved it, nice one mate
Scenario No2, as above, but just as he leaves go of said tit, your rage over powers you and you approach him and proceed to grab his arm and bite him on it! Crowds reaction = That guy who just bit the other guy is gonna get filled in any second now!
That's the difference. Biting in RL carries a lengthy ban and rightly so.

Interesting.'"
Different technique, that one sounds fine.
The one people are complaining about is when the 3rd man in attacks the side of the standing players knee.
Such tackles have put Emmitt out for the season, Solomona injured with it and Coley on Moa last week.

There were 2 people involved in Solomona's tackle were there not, and he was still moving when the contact occurred.
Legal, and utterly unremarkable in other words

If there were 2 people and he was still moving then his ample size will have probably caused it

| Tony Smith needs to sort out his own players tackling technique, sore loser, Wigan appear to be getting a lot of people jealous, MM has kept his opinions to himself under extreme pressure for nearly 2 seasons, well done to him.

| I think the issue here is that the RFL, in typically amateurish fashion, havent explained fully what the rule is. I think they fully intended to mean when the player attacks the side of the knee, whether held or not this should be punished as it is dangerous, but hitting the front or back of the leg (not knee) should be fine eg. the one Lima got banned for against Leeds was not dangerous and I know as Ive had it done to myself many times and always got up straight away though I admit when your leg bends round it can be a little painful but its clumsiness and not agression and above all should not come with a ban.
What the RFL needs is clarity once they can clearly explain every rule then they will be able to have a consistent disciplinary and I think there needs to be a representative from every single team on the panel. I realise thats a lot of effort but it eliminates the unfairness as most of the time they have a link to Leeds and thats probably why Leeds players always get off with a lot worse than any Wigan or Saints player would.

Did you miss the bit where the RFL said the player was still moving and there was nothing wrong with the tackle.

There were two men in both the Emmitt and Solomona tackles

That`s why Leeds players get away with a lot worse,,,,,, Are feckin stupid? On the other hand that`s why we have Redhall in our pockets and we bribe the refs too you know. In fact if we didn`t do that we might not have got into SL next year and would be 7th instead of 6th in the League. But then again you have had the same done to you as Lima did to the Leeds player. No doubt you are much tougher than the Leeds player who went off injured and several others who have missed the odd game cos there softcocks unlike you who is dead hard hey? Nob.

| Look at last years CC Qfinal, Leeds got away with murder, they shouldnt have been in the final, they were a joke and the final was a sad sight. Look at both of last years play off games with Leeds, non stop cheating from Leeds. Wake up, Leeds just can't stop cheating

You are funny.
Now if you are a Wigan fan and can remember that far back you might want to look at the clubs previous record on cheating.
How many penalties did Coley give last season?
So what was the cheating Leeds were doing last year and don`t say McGuires attempt to bring down a player.
Next you will say Abletts clumsy challenge on Tomkins was all about him cheating.
Cheating is somewhat different to poor technique or late in the tackle.
Get a grip.

Nah not at all.
Badly timed he was aiming for his chest.
Still wouldn`t class it as cheating though

However, a number of electrons were mildly inconvenienced.

| Bullshot
It was a deliberate foul on Sam.
As for Coley, he got binned at Leeds for not being able to defy the laws of physics and stop himself in mid-air before merely touching the kicker within a split-second of the ball being kicked.
