How anyone can criticise any club for promoting a big game is beyond me. Well done Wire!

Quote: 21-12 "Wigan have sold 2,900'"

Are you sure?

Wigan have the west stand which is aprox 3,400 and there are a "few hundred" tickets left with just random seats in the "Warrington" stands. Warrington have also been selling tickets (and continue to do so) for the West Stand so it would seem un-likely that Wigan have sold this amount.

I'm suprised that Wigan haven't sold out all their allocation yet (and had a poor support at the semi the other year) yet the other week Leeds fans were slated on here for not travelling in their thousands for a league match at your place on a Friday evening when they were on an apparent hiding to nothing.

Why has this general malaise settled on fans (of all clubs) around the Challenge Cup. This match is the biggest of the season outside of the final itself and the Grand Final and its elimination qualifiers; yet it can't sell out, crazy.

Since its nearly time to take on our "noisy neighbours" and all the d!ck measuring in recent weeks i thought i would take this opportunity to post a reminder of a few of the songs expected to be heard on the day...

"Wire, wherever you may be you aint got no history..."
"Your only here cos its Wigan here cos its Wigan"
"Oh w*nky w*nky"
"you'll never win more than Wigan, win more than Wigan"
"You've got Kerry Katona, celebrity fan, you've got Kerry Katona, celebrity fan, cos Wire are a massive club!"

About 300 tickets left with over a week to spare aint that bad at all. The stand will more than likely be sold out next week. Job done.

O don't think you were issued the whole stand though. Warrington have been selling west stand tickets via internet and club shop for at least a couple of weeks.

Could the Leigh Fan from the ticket shop shread any light on it. Either way I'm still suprised that Wigan haven't sold their full allocation of tickets.

Im surprised you havent sold out your ends either. If the cup game was at Wigan we would have sold well over 11k tickets to Wigan fans by now.
