Wouldnt a class stop gap player be better if we are looking to bring one of our own through though? Matt King for a few years while Joel Learns the tricks of the trade, and Marsh/Acton/Crow/Russell/Ryan King/Goulding/whoever else we have fights it out to replace him? |

Jon Clarke is OOC for them but he cant be on much because hes crap. I know people joke about Wire and the Salary Cap but I really dont know how they do it. They have very little of their own compared to the other big clubs and just buy their main players from other clubs, surely someone in the RFL must have raised eyebrows about it. |

Ratchford
Waterhouse
and losing-
Clarke
King
Anderson
seems all above board to me and if anything they'd have some money left in the kitty.

Given the fact that King is likely to be on one hell of a contract, I can't see Ratchford breaking the bank. |

I agree. Ratchford isnt even as good as our own younger players and only stands out a little becasue he is playing for Salford. There is a good reason why Ratchford wasnt signed by Wigan, or indeed any other big club, in the first place as a youngster and ended up at Salford. |

But he must be half decent if he is being chased by at least 3 top super league clubs including the super league champions and at least 2 union teams so there must be something a coach sees in him. |

I dont believe that for one minute and a lot of this talk about clubs being after him sounds like agent talk and the talk of friends/family bigging him up on here. Either way to be honest I dont really care. He is not good enough for Wigan and is not as good as our young players. I also doubt very much if we were even after him anyway. |
